    With the season approaching and my fast realization that this may be my last season racing (New child and looming deployments have me thinking more about the home front than my hobby) I was wondering if I might bump to Expert for the 2010 season.

    I have an index of .442 and 15 races as an Amateur. I race ULSB. I broke my collarbone in May 2009 during a practice which put my "racecraft" on hold for a bit. I came back in August and was comfortable at a 1:24 pace on my Hawk (PB 1:22) and faster than 3 Experts in the field. That would put me at the back of the pack in expert but as I said when I bumped from novice, it isn't about "wood" for me, it is about racng with my friends. Many are now experts (Alex Dunstan, Gino Berrio, Scott Ferguson...)

    I feel I am a safe and confident rider, I am a control rider/instructor with a trackday org and an MSF instructor in my free time. I feel I can hold my own in Expert.
