Saturday 9/2 - I'm looking for a place to sleep.

I'm gonna be coming up Saturday and camping out with you fellows that night and staying for the races Sunday. Now those of you that saw my borrowed tent go up saturday at Seans party can appreciate why I dont want to bring that thing only to set up to sleep in it, alone, for one night.

Basically looking for an awning/tent/camper/circus tent consisting of a tarp and some crudely fashioned poles to set up a sleeping bag and an air mattress for saturday night.

I'll buy you some beer. Anyone?

Jeff, there's always tent in my trailer, you're welcome to use it anytime. I always end up sleeping in my trailer anyway so the tent never gets set up.

That works for me. Its just that the tent I borrowed for the party, had about 18,000 poles, and I think it took about 9 of us 3.7 hours to put the thing together. Not to mention it comes in a duffel bag you could fit a pair of midgets in. Way too big for one night of sleeping on some grass.

If you need to you can sleep in my work trailer. It has heat and a/c and lots of floor. Just bring some pads for the tie down hooks on the floor. Who's tent was laying in the garden Sunday morning?

Brent & Liz ended up staying in the living room, wind took the tent for a ride down the hill sometime during the night apparently.

Yeah, thats basically what I'm looking for Pete, just a place to crash for the night. I'll see you guys that saturday around in the pits, so I'll figure it out then.

I was referring to the 9 people it took 3.7 hours to pitch a tent... then the couple that took a tent down a hill for a ride. Ha!

Ok ok, so it took 4 drunks probably 30 minutes to put it together, and the tent that rolled down the hill was unoccupied, but thats besides the point.

Bah, we've got the club championship at work that weekend (I work for the groundscrew on a golf course), have to work both mornings goddamnit. All is well, gives me reason to have to ride up and back on the bike twice instead of just once.
