Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
there was a shit show last night and noone told me!!??
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
Yeah, the off-track stuff is incredible. Not that the on-track stuff isn't. But, Marco took one of my favorite m/c photos of all time, and I was in the garage at the time.
I love this photo.

Dude no matter what the time is never hold pics like that from me hahaha
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
While looking back through these I forgot all about John Linn almost getting left behind for the side car race. I was shooting while trying to flag down the other rider who took off without realizing John wasn't on the bike.
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
you need to venture into the infield and snap some out there..... we get no photo love :dunno:
your shots are amazing! and I think it will benefit all of us to have more than one photographer. I'd like to have one in every corner!
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
Fucking amazing Marco. I legit get emotional looking through some of them

Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
Marco,
Pleasure to meet you the last race weekend and sweet job on the pictures!
Finallt got a chance to flip through your gallery. As has been said by many the pit shots are great. They really capture the moment especially since in most of them the subject had no idea you were taking the shot.

Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
Amazing shots, Marco.
But *sniff* still no love for the #39 bike. I did see a Snowman aboard the #43 in the pits of the endurance race and our "on the box" moment, so thank you.
And the shots of John chasing the sidecar with the wide eyes are priceless.

With that big ass lens he can be in T6 and capture everything in the garage!
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
great pictures, thanks for sharing. I even made one or two... Sorry about that LOL...
Your black and white pictures are spectacular !!!
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
FYI,
re Pete's point, "dinner on the table"
to shoot pics (vest, inside track, pics for sale) takes a whole bunch of image sales just to cover the NHMS healthy vendor fee.
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
What is the vendor/photographer fee @ NHMS?
Re: Mediocre Classic Photos
Amazing photos. Is there a link to the rest?

There is a lot of track out there one guy can only cover so much and if you are out shooting races you miss out on what happens in the "Haddock"

Savas street shoot sounds like a blast I have plenty of ideas for that...
I would totally be game for bringing the Ninja somewhere for this!!

I think it's different for every vendor. When we tried to get a contract a few years back, they wanted $250 per event to slip on the orange vest.
