This question is most likely for Graham, but Eric might know.
Is Motul's MoCool legal for LRRS?
I had the opportunity to meet with Motul over the long weekend out in SoCal and this was one of the products I spoke to with their technical product manager.
I explained that LRRS doesn't allow Engine Ice, but allows Water Wetter with water in the rider's radiator.
MoCool is similar, as you add a small amount to a radiator filled with distilled water.
It dries very quickly with heat, if poured onto pavement.
The biggest advantage I saw in comparison to Water Wetter was the cooling additives, as I don't run a fan on my radiator.

It was said by eric some where.....that if you have a new water wetter you can submit it for testing and they will Approve it or not.....Grahm was the test guy as with fuel. If its not on the list you should submit it for approval, easy bud

If it's not in the approved list, it's not currently legal.
You can submit it to Tech to test for potential approval at a later date, but don't show up with it in your bike for the opening round hoping to be good to go. Bring a sample bottle to give to tech. As far as cooling improvements, any of the additives that act as suffricant and disrupt water surface tension will have the same effect. My 'slightly hotter than stock' 400 is running without a cooling fan as well.
engine ice is approved for CCS and given out to D200 riders. i personally have slipped and crashed on spilled Engine Ice on the track. So i can see the concern for denying CCS approved items.
this product however is comparable to Water Wetter, which is LRRS approved.
Engine Ice is slippery, but can be cleaned up a bit more effectively than straight coolant. I still think it is ridiculous to have different fluid restrictions for a CCS sanctioned race series, where competitors may quite often race at other venues. It makes no sense, get on the same page.
More like mofool.

Early signs are positive. Non glycol and WERA approved. A sample should be given to Chuck at Tech for approval. This will not be approved immediately. In addition to the scuff test, ease of cleanup is also evaluated on a day when the track is inactive.
Regarding the non approved list, Engine Ice is approved by ASRA/CCS, even though it contains Propylene Glycol. The other brand is very vague about what it's made of but in their web site they mention that it's good to -40° and admit that it's "slippery".
Propylene Glycol is slippery. We don't allow it. WERA doesn't allow it.
