MA hasn’t really gotten me to “bite” on following the series the way I do MotoGP. Mostly it’s a time constraint, with the GP race schedule I really can’t devote anymore time at home to watching motorcycles. How is their streaming service? They have an app now, is it any good? Anywhere I can download content? I usually have 5-10 hours a week on a week plane so this is where I’d watch.
How is the series? Competitive racing? Is the broadcast watchable? Don’t need it to be great, compelling enough to watch will do.
Thoughts?
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I don't have any experience with the app, but they have been putting a lot of the races on YouTube. Definitely fun to watch. I've been more interested in the junior cup and the twin cup for sure. Its helped to have local talent to watch and root for.

Other than Greg White approaching John Madden levels of announcing at times, I've found the series to be quite entertaining overall.
Ben Gloddy and Teagg Hobbs are our locals in the series.
Can't speak on the user experience for the app.
Nice to see some players from WSBK and MotoGP in the mix as well...Loris Baz, Tony Elias, Hector Barbera
Practice and qualifying for Daytona 200 going on today. Anyone watching? No rain for the time being.
I'll be signing up for the 3rd year in a row. Worth it in my opinion. Tons of racing to watch. Honestly, too much

Didn't know what to expect from the bagger race, but that was fun to watch and a great finish.
Twins Cup on right now with Gloddy on pole.
Damn, great twins race. Holy hell Mazzioto is insane, not too many people can ride a jump off the wall and still keep it up. Felt like Gloddy had a target on his back.
Here's the full bagger race.

Wow, great twins cup race! Congrats to Teagg on second. Awesome job for Wesley getting 16th too, that was a huge field. Sucks Ben got taken out by his own teammate. Lil Mazz is a beast. Cool to see him on a lightweight and racing again.
Also watched the baggers class. So fun to watch. Tyler Ohare used to race ama supermoto. Good to see the success he's had in the bagger class the last couple years. Shane was 6th, too.

Mazzi has always been impressive. When I raced asra and I went to jersey he spanked me in every race and I think he was 14 at the time.
As impressive as that save was, I feel it was also kinda wreckless. The way he went back in line could have easily taken out 10 bikes like it was nothing. Lots of luck for others involved too. I didn’t even know he had stopped racing? Or you meant jsut on LW?
As a LW guy, twins race was very exciting to watch. Lots of exciting shit at this Daytona round. Usually things are boring there for the most part.
I was wondering if you ever raced him. Yeah, he was a really fast kid in Jersey. And your right, he almost took the front wheel out of the guy behind him.
Not sure what happened, but he had a ton of talent. Moved onto a mw and did pretty good right off the bat. I just remember all of a sudden seeing him in MA race beginning of last year as a fill in rider. I tried Googling his career to see what he's been up to and there's a blank period for a couple years. Then he was on a twin again.
He looks very comfortable on it again. Like you said, he was destroying the expert lw field in Jersey at 12 and 13. I also seem to remember his first race on an r6 getting third, too.

I followed his career for a while because a few of my Jersey friends helped him and were put crews for him. He was killing it on MW too. No clue what happened. Kid had insane talent and could ride anything with wheels back when I was involved in the sport. One of those who you really think would make it.
Just saw a short clip of a rather intense highside somewhere on the banking. Two bikes affected. Was that from this year?

I don't think there was any way to watch it live without the MotoAmerica Live+ subscription. You can stream it now on YouTube. The last lap is unbeleivable. Same with the Twins Cup last lap.
I don't know if it was for MotoAmerica putting on the show, or having some New Engalnders to root for, or that I could actually watch it without going though a bunch of hassle, but I really enjoyed this weekend races. All of the races were competetive and close at the front with insanely great finishes.
Unfortunately having to basically book the days full because the rain screwed up the schedule was a bit of a loss, but the viewing was worth it. Was a real pisser when the live Twins Cup race was cut-off because of their technical issues, but at least I was able to watch it not too much later on YouTube.
Overall happy with the production and glad I re-upped for the MA Live+ package this year even with the price increase. Looks to be a lot of great racing in store.
