Well, I share a motogp subscription with family, and I am starting to get blocked from content if there is another device logged in. This SUUUUCKS. Nevermind the sharing the expensive account thing, but multiple devices are just a reality even for a single user. What a PITA. Might be a game changer in terms of whether we pay for access or not.
And I need to figure it out because I'm amped to watch the first round coverage.
Was wondering when they would catch on to the account sharing and come up with a way to prevent it.
Time to change my password..MotoGP!
I'm curious if this drives revenue up or down for them...they should be able to map it to IPs like youtubeTV and other broad cast services do, but seems like they aren't?

I'm just now trying on my phone and on a tablet on wifi. separate IP's and im getting error occurred on my phone. I started MotoGP on the tablet first...welp that proves that. I'll try when I'm home all on the same VLan with one Comcast IP
Had it playin on 4 devices at once at home.
Well fuck me, just noticed Comcast dropped BeIn Sports completely from their lineup, can't even pay extra to get it. Now I have to figure out another way to watch racing this season. Fuckin hate Comcast, wish I had another option for provider like Verizon FIOS.
Just pay for video pass. Full coverage of testing, all events. It's great.
Well I just re-upped my subscription. I used BeIN the last two years, it was alright. ViedoPass is definitely the way to go, they also just released an app for multiple platforms (finally) so that's a big plus.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Anyone run into an issue logging into Motogp.com via Comcast "bad gateway address"?
That's what keeps me on the fence. When you can't count on reliably connecting it's hard to make the purchase.
Wow. Moto2 was an EXCELLENT race. I was on my feet for the last several laps, amazing finish on multiple battles. I haven't seen Moto3 yet, I'll watch after the GP race. I'll save any spoilers until after everything has aired.
MotoGP Predictions:
1. Marquez
2. Petrucci
3. Crutchlow
4. Vinales
5. Dovi
Also, I haven't had any trouble logging in via Comcast. Watching on Video Pass on the new Roku app. The live broadcast has worked very well, though I wish they had more available during the race weekend. Should absolutely be a menu where you can access all sessions of practice and qualifying after they've completed like they do on the website.

I have the pass but realized a couple days ago my surface only has a USB port, no HDMI. Any suggestions on best way to connect this to a tv?
Fortunately I’m home today and have BeIn here.
I am in Florida and can’t get in either....with app or website

So a quick review on the VideoPass app for Roku...
The good:
Live streaming was flawless. It really does kick the shit out of BeIN's coverage. i feel like you get more comprehensive coverage of the race (camera angles, replays) over the VideoPass live stream vs network TV coverage. The app is a nice one stop for watching the races real time, I always hated having to boot it up on the computer then cast it to the TV. There is actually an app now. That in itself is great.
The bad:
Cannot pause either live or archived video. Discovered the latter Friday night when I was playing around with it, the former when I was watching the GP race and had to piss with like 8 to go. I held it.
Cannot view all aspects completed aspects of the race weekend. In my mind, you should be able to open a submenu for each round that you can load up all of the practices and qualifying sessions after they've occurred. It was up live for each one, but they don't have a comprehensive video archive accessible through the app. I didn't get home this morning until after the Moto 3 race. I want to watch it but as of now I have to do it on the computer and cast it.
So they just released the app across all of the streaming platforms earlier in the week, the Roku app was delayed a couple of days further than the rest (Apple/Fire/Android.) I'm hoping they develop the archived content further, I expect they will but then again it took them until 2019 to develop an app at all. As long as you're watching live it's definitely still better than casting.

I absolutely love a race like that.
I've been watching Motogp steadily since about 2011. Not as long as some, but quite a bit. The game of chess inside the knife fight is awesome. Much better than "the fastest guy wins" type of race.
Rossi, absolutely has it figured out on the weakest equipment. Dovi has it figured out on the best equipment. Marquez has it figured out with the best skill set. Rins is racing his heart out. Cal is somewhere in the middle. Petrucci is almost there. The new breed of folks are awesome. Rossi is dragging elbow consistently. Some others will have good days and mix it up.
This season should be good. I expect the later rounds to take shape like last year once the 2019 bikes are sorted, but I'm perfectly okay with that. Hopefully Lorenzo will be getting into the mix at that time to make it spicy.
