MotoGP Will Not Visit Countries Requiring Quarantines In 2022
https://www.rideapart.com/news/56159...ce-quarantine/
""If they tell us that we have to be quarantined for fourteen days, the answer is clear, no, I'm not going! That's the limit," Ezpeleta claimed. "As for the rest, they can ask us to have vaccination certificates or the documentation that we already did last year and that is why it was important to go to the United States as a test of what can be said to the rest of the countries.”

What's up with these shit liveries? Gresini looks awful and now RNF with that rolling sticker bomb.![]()
Short answer: Marketing/Funding
Longer answer: Can't run a team in an expensive sport without someone to pay for it. People that pay for it want people to know they paid for it. Back in the day was easier with alcohol and cigarette companies needing a place to dump extra cash to in order to not have to be taxed on it. Now that those industries are not allowed to advertise like that teams need to back fill alcohol/tobacco's large wallets with a bunch of smaller wallets.

Ducati 21 wins again! Think the factory's got work to do. it's going to be a very interesting season for sure!
Pumped for EB23, storybook victory for sure.
Nice to see Suzuki and Aprilia not getting smoked on horsepower, shame the Yamaha just doesn’t have it. Looks like it’s going to be a long season for Fabio.
Wow. That was awesome for Team Gresini.

So... MotoGP fantasy...
The biggest change this year rule-wise that I just now noticed is that we can make TWO trades instead of one. That's huge
And looking at price changes in the Fantasy leagues for riders... holy cow. Some interesting stuff happened there.
First, Ducati went from 4.4mil to just 3mil, making it, IMO, easily the best value manufacturer right now. With so many Ducs that DNF'ed, the price plummeted, though it STILL scored the most points of any constructor so it's not like it was a bad choice even at 4.4mil.
But if for round 1 you opted to go with a different constructor to save some bucks, using one of your trades to switch over to Ducati is a no brainer.
Secondly... FQuat's price inexplicably went UP from 4mil to 4.2 mil... making him, IMO, the worst value rider... wtf is the justification for that? He only got 15 points!
On the bright side, if you signed him for round 1, now's a great chance to get rid of him for one or maybe even two much better value riders.
Riders w/ the biggest drop in price (at 300k each) are Franco Morbidelli and Marco Bezzecchi. At just 1.6mil Marco actually might not be a bad pick-up if you need to free up some cash to trade one of your riders for a higher caliber one.
Sadly, Pecco was the worst pick for round 1. 3.7m and only 2 fantasy points. His value went down 100k though, so if you don't already have him, and if Ducati pulls their heads out of their collective asses, I think he'll be scoring a lot more points as the season goes on.
........... why the hell am I telling you all this? I'm trying to beat you all.
Bonus observation: If you had Ducati, Bastianini, Binder, Pol and Aleix... you woulda had the perfection team, scoring HUGE points, and it only would've cost you 14.7mil.![]()
