Colin is off on a family adventure so I know he's out. I'm planning on showing up to be sociable at some point.
I'm not racing for 2018, probably done for a while. I may volunteer for flagging or corner working. But not this round as I'm away for the weekend.
is it in Brockton again? I live next town over if it is

They have a Grom class? lol

$50 to be able to run it in two practices, a heat race and a main is probably the most fun you can have with that grom.

I think I asked this in another thread, but.. what is the SV650 of this type of racing? That is, what is the best bike to start on where parts are easy to find & setup knowledge is also easy?
'02 Ducati 998, '08 Ducati HyperMotard 1100S, '14 Subaru XV Crosstrek
450? 250? Mini?
I'm sure others will chime in but my recollection of what bikes I have seen a lot of at the tracks
450 - Honda CRF450F
250 - kind of a toss up but I have seen more YZ250F than CRF250F
Mini - XR/CRF 100/150 variants
New bikes I have seen a ton of the KTM/Husqvarna 450 variants but they are big money comparatively

Seems like the most popular class right now are the real small bikes on pavement with no dirt. A tricked out thumpster or ktm 65. It's crazy how fast those guys can go.

I think the xr100 is the sv/Miata/go to for boxshop. Has its own class and there will always be another there to tangle with
And a stocker XR100 is welcome at just about any other mini org too, with lots of others for guaranteed good competition. The reality is pretty much any dirtybike, mini, full-size, or something in-between will provide entertainment at Boxshop.
I ran an almost bone stock DRZ400. I lost, but not because of the bike.
