Friday June 2nd - NEMM School and open practice
Saturday June 3rd - NEMM Round 2 begins
Sunday June 4th - MOAR NEMM Round 2!
Who's coming to play? I'll be there on Project Stupid in the Superbiker class... If you want to get REAL close and personal to the shenanigans I can get you an 'in' as a flagger.
(Also, I'm going to MX207 this weekend, either Sat or Sun to get some dirt practice in should anyone want to join me.)
Hopefully I can make this one......

So, for starters remember that you're out in the middle of nowhere. If you need power, you'll need to bring it or arrange to tap off a friend's. The only facilities on site is a lonely porta potty, bring your own water, food, shade, etc. There is limited pavement, and most of it needs to stay open as the access path to the track so consider some form of ground cover if grass offends your sensibilities. Bug spray is a must, and it being the Maine woods you need to be aware of ticks.
Other than that, it's about the most laid back event you're likely to ever attend. Standard race day format, sign the waiver, get your bike tech'd (they come to you!) then a riders' meeting before practice starts. After practice there are heats and mains with a break for lunch thrown in.
NHF Supermoto School <= Click Rules, upper right-ish
Basically your 450 slots as "open SMX" and "supermono" if you want to run pavement only.
You're an EX LRRSer now and I wonder if he'd slot you in the pro (A level) or AM (B level). But don't worry about it. Let Aaron worry about it and just ride.
Schedule is whatever man. Seriously. Don't try to plan your day too in depth; stay lose (or weird if you prefer) and go with the flow.
Course is small and tight. Gear down. Like way down. 13/46 on my WR450 right now.

NEMM - New England Motos & Minis <- Rules and classes, YAY
I used to have a rough daily schedule but I can't find it. Short form is get there before 9am, plan on two rounds of dirt practice, two rounds of pavement only, one heat per class, one main per class. The schedule fluctuates based on attendance and rider preferences, more riders mean classes get separated, etc.
If you show up at 7 you will be very, very lonely. Nobody will be awake.
At least that's been my experience.
And Friday school doesn't actually get rolling until at least 10.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Why does my godson have to graduate high school that weekend!

Well, you'd be missing a day + of shenanigans, but you can certainly do it that way if you want. Some day is going to be your first day at some point, right? No reason it can't be Sunday.
It's all practice, buddy.
I think of it as $50 of fun. The course is really easy to pick up.

$75 if you pick up that bump class.. and the extra track time to go with it. $ very well spent.
Although I'm not sure you can pre-reg for one day only. I just reg'ed last night and it didn't even give me the option. Can't remember what he charges for "late" reg.
I'm in for AM Open and Supermono for both days. Dusted off the trailer. Hooked up the battery, greased the hubs and topped off the tires. WR is loaded and ready. Just need tools, food and clothes for the weekend.
Going to take tomorrow off and do open practice too. I sure need it.
My opinion is that the track is easy to learn but surprisingly harder to master. At open practice last month I was thrown in with the big fish. Those guys that know that place pick up time all over the place. I was struggling to pass an XR100 on my WR450 because the XR pilot knew the place 4929x better than I do.
New brake setup on the WR seems good to go. They drag more than I'd like, but it rides fine and stops well. I'm done screwing with it, going to let it self adjust from here.
Not happy with my rain tire setup. I need to buy a new front and the rear wheel I picked up for rain duty does not fit. Going to need to figure out a spacer deal for that. So if (when?) it rains I'm either going to sit it out or bust out the irons.
Y'all (other than Colin) missed a good time. Weather was perfect, the rain held off until racing was done.
