newbie pit help/company this race weekend?

Since I am not racing thise weekend (and quite possibly all year) I cannot speak for the GMR team in T1a but I am sure if you grovel and bring beer there will be a number of folks that will let you be pit bitch... I mean pit with them.

Pretty sure you took the Penguin basic class with my father (Doug - on a black SV650).

We'll both be down there - and will most likely pit close to T1 (near the green team - Rado - the guy from the photo game thread). We usually pit with a couple other Amateurs.

We don't drink or trash-talk, but you are more than welcome to pit with us.

Brady, yes I was in the Penguin with you and like my son said we'd be glad to have you and help in what ever way. We are all in the Novice so I'm sure we can help each other. Like you, I'm just starting although Penguin was my first time on the bike AND on the track. I'm just trying to stay of of peoples way and not hurt myself or anyone else. We are also on the bare bones budget end right now and in tents. The great thing is everyone around is always willing to help each other. Looking forward to the weekend, we get in Thursday around 6 PM.

Cool, thanks, and I'll be glad to help however I can. I'll be at the track sometime on Friday to get tires mounted (then going home for the overnight, I'm only 45 minutes away), will stop by. You're braver than I am going right from street to racing, but nice you have Ty for advice and pit crew.

Met you last year @ the event down @ the rotary in Winooski (Land-Air had a tent set up)...

Then went and bought some Engine-Ice off of you before last race weekend... talked about the Novice discounts.

Also - think you went to look at an R6 with Mike right? I pit with him and Dave @ the track.
