Hey guys,
Thanks for all who helped my 2 buddies get familiar with the track this weekend, they are great guys who are super-eager to learn their way around a racetrack... Jersey and Keith, they said you guys were helping them out all weekend! thanks guys
We had a good weekend, all came home with all our fingers and toes, and mike and dave held it down and felt the track out for the first time.
I ran on a damp track on sunday afternoon (amateur hw super sport) with DOT's, got hit by another rider in turn 12 (he crashed afterwards), managed to stay up, and went down in the last lap battling jamie for 2nd... we were far enough ahead of the rest of the pack, I was able to get my bike right side up, and finish for my first podium finish as an amateur!

That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
That Sunday HWSS race was a blast to watch. I knew you were on DOTs and Jamie was on rains, and half way through the race his rains were visibly wiggling all over. Of course I looked away for 10 seconds and then looked back when I heard you in T3. You popped up before you were done sliding and then off you went. You were moving right along. Good way to start the season off.
Kayak Addiction would definitely be cheaper though, as you said.

1/2 way thru the race I noticed that you were picking up the pace. Last lap I saw you leading Jamie into T3. I also noticed him charging pretty hard. I was wondering if he was going to try to outbreak you and..... I thought that you just ended up breaking so late you just took it straight. Guess you ended up going straight the hard way. Glad you are OK. And congrats on the Podium finish. Hard fought battle.

nice to know somebody thought i was picking up pace haha, feels like im tied to a pole out there with those fast guys!
jamie out breaked me into 3, and i was going to try a hi-low (motoX type shit) line on him, but I went through a puddle about 5 ft before turning in, and nowhere near enough traction to turn in on.... oh well, i was glad nobody behind me was close enough to be effected by my mistake (or take my spot)...
nice seeing you again this year. maybe on the 10th/11th, we'll actually say hi to each other!!

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
Nice to be back next to you on the grid, tough luck in 3 you were movin pretty good out there. The website looks good too..
Haven't pulled anything apart yet, that's this weekends plan. Hopefully it's just the starter gear stuck and not the motor making noise. The starter relay trips evertime I hit the ignintion.
