I can bring breakfast/coffee. I'm 15 minutes away. Can run out to pick up lunch too, know a place in town that does solid steak and cheese subs.

What are you going to driving so I can know who to look for? Either that or I'll just start sitting on people's bikes until someone says "yeah, sure, go ahead".

I'll probably be rockin the GOKART. No need to bring the truck without a bike to haul.

I'm aiming to be there at 10 or shortly after. Track goes green at 12. I'm in a silver 1st gen Tacoma, my EZ up awning is a tan top with green trim. That said, most people identify me by my flowing hair and luxurious beard.

Duncan, getting there at 10 might mean you're there before the owner's are. It's a very loose environment, no tech, basically roll in, hand someone some cash, roll the bike off, and onto the track you go.

Hey All, it was a good time watching everyone rip it around the track yesterday. A very good showing of LRRS riders demonstrating there dirty bike track skills. I'm trying to wheel and deal to get myself a bike for the next race/family fun weekend.

Let's see if we can increase the riders list for the next time.

It's a ton of fun for sure. It should honestly be more expensive because I felt a bit uncomfortable with the fun per dollar ratio. For those interested, my total investment to buy a bike, rebuild the top end and carb, and shoe it in Trail Wings is about $600. They also race there almost every weekend. There's almost no excuse for not trying it out.

Re: giving it a try. I'm happy to whore out my XR100 for any NESR'ian that wants to try. The next Family Day is in October, I'll be there for the 12-8 Saturday session and 12-5 Sunday session. It'll be perfect timing for you guys to try it, source a bike for a winter build, and be ready for next season.

I shared my bike with Clayton yesterday and we easily could have had another rider on there. They run Family Days as full open session, pit in and out as you please, ride as much as you want. Super layed back, tons of fun. I'll also mention there were zero multi rider incidents yesterday. Lots of people went down on there own (including me twice) but no one was banging bars.
