As some of you already know, I am racing Phillip Island in January on my own racebike. I was encouraged to keep a blog about it because I don't think I had any idea how much work it would be to not only race overseas, but to have your bike shipped as well. It is completely awesome though and I will be updating this blog on my trip so hope you enjoy it.

Fricken awesome
Best of luck to you and your crew!
Thanks everyone and especially Paul
Yes we are attending the Island Classic. They are doing a team challenge with the Australians, the British and an American team which has an east and west coast contingent. We were invited earlier this year, but so much had to fall into place that I didn't think it would actually happen! It has been quite a commitment though as I will continue to update.

I got Lukey Heights nailed down pretty well, so if you need any tips on that section let me know.
It works the same in real life as it does on WSBK on xbox right?
Nice.

Congrats To Jerseygirl! I am so jealous not only do you get to race on one of the greatest tracks in the world but you will be doing it while the rest of us wallow around in the snow. We will be cold and wishing we were riding while you are doing laps on a track I can only hope to see in person (jealous again)! Best of luck take lots of video. I also would like to know how well WSBK racing matches up to real life. Have a great trip and we wish you great results!
Thats a Trip of a Life time......Congrats

Paul, can surf at the Pinnacles, saw lots of surfers and really nice waves.
Jersey girl, they gave me huge issues with my Arai Corsair V helmet because it didn't have an Australian approved DOT sticker in the back. So I'd look into it. I ended up borrowing a helmet from someone because of it. I'm sure none of our helmets in the US has the Aussie sticker.
Thanks Kumpy for the heads up. We are being invited over by the Australians so they are understanding that the gear and bikes we are bringing will pass tech here in the states. I am excited to read your write up about P.I.!
