As most of you know members from LDR and a member of ECK participated in the 2011 Big Fish Little Pond vintage event last summer. We all rode Wild Bill's Hawk for 2hrs, 30mins, 20min sessions. needless to say it was a friggin blast. Does anyone know the rules or where I could find them as to what bikes qualify? we are definitely doing it again this year and we want more bikes in it. Anyone interested in riding for us if we get another like 2 bikes?
I'm pretty sure I heard it was on Labor Day this weekend. I'm also curious about the rules, as some of the RSP guys and I wanted to enter.

have to check rules but as stated above if theres no changes to bike other than cosmetic it should be ok.. just double check rulebook (very confusing)
So happy to hear interest in the endurance race. You guys were....um entertaining![]()
The race was actually over our two day weekend which was September 17 and 18 in 2011. I know they are finalizing the schedule soon and when I find out the date of the endurance race, I will let you all know. My guess it that it will be over our two day weekend August 18 and 19 as it takes time away from the regular races. If you have any other questions, let Johnny B or myself know and we will help you out.

Um... yeah... my 92 is 2 generations ahead of the 1st gen bikes the US got, motor has been massaged... yeah... so likely not.
Of course, according to the rule book liquid cooled or aluminum frames are automatic outs also so the Hawk and 87 Fizzer shouldn't be there either.
Nothing is set in stone regarding the schedule, but I can almost guarantee it will not be Labor Day weekend. The race takes 3 hours out of our schedule so we wouldn't do it on a one day event like Labor Day. My mom is the race director for August and I left her a message regarding this. I will let you know when I her something.

I would be interested in either riding or crewing when these plans come together.
The Hawk is in Period IV, Formula 3 provisional class, pre Dec. 31st 1989. This is also the class for Suzuki GS550 and Kawasaki EX250/500; current models allowed.
It's all fun and games until Gino shows up....
Kerry, It is good to be entertaining ...not too good to be intrusive...
And nothing in that class about steel frame only
