Lap timer, how many people use the download module and software?

Never knew they had software but I do love my xt ultra.

Yeah, its like $60. It comes with a disc and a sensor reader that plugs in to the computer to download the info. Not sure if its worth the money or if its fine enough just reading the display.

I don't really see the point. Only advantage I can see is you can probably view all your laps at once. and if you ride a lot of track days you can save the data so the unit memory doesn't get full. doesn't seem worth it to me.

How about a beacon? I know bomo usually puts one out, but pretty sure ttd doesn't. Is it worth buying one?

dont know if TTD allows a beacon. if you want to spend the $$ then go for it. there are plenty of TDs that ive been to where this question comes up at the riders meeting and they ask if anyone has a beacon to put out. that person could be you.
