    How well could a soft DOT be expected to hold up on the street on my KTM (all 45 whopping horses or whatever it is)

    Good until it rains, or The first 4 Miles until it heats up.

    Race Tires are for Racing(trackdays)

    Street tires are for the street.

    Street tires are cheaper and better for the street.

    I've been running supercorsa take-offs on my street bikes since '06... it's no big deal. Just gotta be aware that they can be a little slippery for the first few minutes & they pretty much suck in the wet.
