    yep, they are italian made.

AGV rebrands their top line leathers (I think it used to be the 'Rage') which were Corner leathers with both AGV and Corner logos.

    Yes.

The only downsize I had to them was the velcro on the knee sliders was reversed. They may have changed that in the last 8 years or so.

    Anyone heard of "Corner" leathers

I have a set that I've been using since April '05. They can handle slides, tumbles, looped bikes and stints in the washing machine. I bought them $150 used on ebay. The velcro thing does suck, though. I bought a set of sliders once not knowing, and had to turn them over to a friend. I don't seem to be getting any more significant wear on the sliders, and at my speeds I figure I'm good for another 5-10 yrs with these. Don't forget to get yourself (at least) a back protector too. I'm not sure why they aren't required for racing with Lrrs. Maybe they are afraid of the backlash from making something mandatory?

Adam, did you get replacements or change the velcro? If you found replacements where did you get them?

I have a back protector and some Teknic leathers but I was thinking these could be an upgrade.

I thought it said the suit has a pocket for a back protector. Is there a special one?

Thanks again guys. Glad to see soemone is familiar. You know of any places that sells these so I can compare prices? I did a google search with no luck.

I had a set of Corner leathers a few years ago. They are very good quality. Yes, the velcro was reversed on mine also, that SUCKED! I had to make a velcro "gender bender" patch for each knee out of sheet velcro.

    derek

Thanks for the info Degs, I am glad I am hearing good things and not bad. I got them pretty cheap so I shouldn't complain too much.

I am told you can get the right sliders somewhere.

The good thing is I have yet to put a knee down and the suit comes with sliders anyway so I shouldn't need any in awhile.
