Race ScheduleOK Gang, Don and I worked long into the night on this. We did our best to separate so you can ride multiple classes. If you are going to ride a GSXR1000 and an EX we just can't help everyone. Other than individual issues, please let us know if we have missed something.

Fuck there goes my amazing idea! heh.

I like the way the new one looks. It gives me a little more rest between races.

Race Schedule
I'd really like to see a team challenge / solo challenge organized for bike week. I had a blast doing that a couple years ago.
I especially want to see it since I've been working out and want to give that solo challenge a shot.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
So has anybody raced two classes back to back? Is it even possible? Once I move to AM (whenever that actually is), I'd like to race in races 7&8 on Sunday. I'll most likely have to pick one and stick with it. What does everybody think?

Peter did it every sunday last year. It's not a problem if you're in good enough shape.

LOL nice. Well how do they do the pregrid checkin? Would I skip the warmup lap?

naw you would have some one have fuel ready for ya when you pull in...dump it and off you go.![]()
Depends on the bike if you'd need fuel or not. Good idea to at least have someone on the pre-grid with water or a drink of sorts. Just go from your cool down lap straight to pre grid. There's plenty of time.

I'd love to do a team challenge on an EX. They are setup so similar that riding one vs. your own shouldn't be that much of a departure.

Let Pre-Grid know that you have back-to-back races. They can delay the 5 minute board if necessary. If you have crew doing a splash of fuel, have them set up on upper pit row near me and let me know so that I can help facilitate the process.Originally posted by SilverDragon

If you're fueling on pre-grid do you need someone there witha fire extingusher or was that just team challenge regulations?

Woot! I just heard a solid rumor that USGPRU is coming to Loudon on the weekend of the classic! That's a major plus for me as I'll be contesting that series and thought it would be mostly tracks I've never seen, but now I've got Loudon and Beaver that I have "some" experience with.
That's very exciting! I'm pumped to see a USGPRU round!Originally posted by Paul_E_D

And you'll have a huge homefield advantage Paul, work that shit.
Boston --> San Diego
Loudon is listed as a stop on the USGPRU 2007 schedule:
http://www.usgpru.net/schedule.php
That should be great. How many bikes do they typically draw for this series?

40-50 125s is a STRONG USGPRU showing, and we'll hit that easily at Loudon. It will be a fantastic race to watch, and compete in!
The rest of the USGPRU schedule is not what I expected! 3 rounds are basically in the midwest and it will be brutal to drive for those. Also, EXPENSIVE. I'm going to have to get creative to find funding for this season. I might even need to pass the hat!
I'm really pumped though, and I just scored a box of top-notch go fast parts to test: Airbox, pipe, bored carbie, ignition bender, quick-turn throttle. Woot! Last year my bike proved to be in the top ten in terms of speed, but these bits should bring me up to snuff on the bigger tracks...
edit: Oh yeah, I got some alternative first and second gears as well!
Nope. That's only for endurance. If you have a fire, I'll break out marshmallows!Originally posted by hessogood

Actually, I have an extinguisher at my post if needed.
