If you tell him so, he may be able to make it happen. If not, like I said, I have two Vanson protectors ready to be zipped into your leathers.

I bet he will make it happen. If you ask around he will even ship the finished product to the track for you... ask Jersey. Your best bet, stop posting and call him now. It wouldn't make sense to buy something less effective because of timeframes. If he can't make it for the 14th, use Clayton's but at least in the end you know you are getting a good product. Probably the biggest thing that is going to affect you right now is shipping time, but the cost of overnight service is well worth it in my opinion. He'll probably even split the cost with you. I never met the guy in my life but I spent like 40 minutes on the phone with him one day when I followed up on the fitment of my templates just BS'ing. He knows his shit and he isn't new to the roadracing world, he understands racers never have enough time.

edit: as far as the long turn around you've heard about... i didn't have an issue.

I just kept sending him emails telling him I want to pay him and that I would like this for my next event. He is going to send the templates out in the next day or so and send them express so that I can test fit them, then he can make the real thing.

This guys seems genuinely concerned with rider safety, both from a gear standpoint and a track safety standpoint.

Yep I talked with him yesterday afternoon and sent him my measurements last night. He said he will have the templates out ASAP and I will have the protectors by June 14th.

Definitely quality guy and high quality of service so far.
