Questions about typical Classic weekend schedule

What does the schedule typically look like for Friday-Sunday of the Classic? Are there races on Friday? Has there been any consistency in the scheduling of the races over the past few years? I am specifically interested in the LW races, trying to figure out if I have any shot of racing given that I will be missing Saturday and possibly Sunday.

If I remember correctly, the past few years they ran part of the Saturday schedule on Friday, usually the first half or so of the typical Saturday lineup.

It's kind of early to tell on this. Last year was a big change in the schedule because of the addition of SMEC to the lineup. I think there might be a renegotiation of the contract with SRA as far as the sidecars, too.

Holy shit. I raced the same exact race every round in 2014, and I would check the schedule Saturday morning to see which race it was. You're planning for a round that's six months away. I feel very irresponsible.

Some of us were doing the math today and found no advantage to sign up for racer practice today. Are you looking at more classes? Or did we miss something?

No excuse. I was at the track the day my sister got married. I didn't find out about it until a couple of days later.

My sister is getting married on Nov 7th... so pissed because the Awards banquet is usually the sat of the first full weekend of Nov. gotta give her credit that she didnt plan it for a race weekend and was trying to work around the holidays etc but she dropped it on the banquet lol

I guess I vaguely remember that. Things had a way of getting kind of fuzzy for me on Saturday nights. I think I was trying to block out the possibility of it happening.
