Curious if anyone has or has used both, are the WC's any thicker than the CH's? I think my front is done, unless I can repair it. They're CH's I got used last year, and they BARELY fit - clearance is very tight. No other brand I've tried fits, but I have not tried WC's. I'd like to go WC for my next set, but can't exactly buy a set just to see if they fit, that'd be an expensive experiment.
Contact Dave Podolsky(owner of CHR). He might be able to repair them for little or no cost. He might even be able to make one custom fitted just for your tires.
Alexia (Spyderchic on the WERA forum) does tire warmer repair if needed.
I am a fan of the woodcraft dual temps...The quick connect/disconnect is priceless when you're going out to a race. they fit well and have side curtains to keep the heat in. A lot of my team members (including me) use them.
Thanks guys. My concern with having them repaired is what would I use for the classic, and whatever else until I got them back? I'm back on track in less than 2 weeks, so I figure I have to buy something else. I'll try to get these repaired as backups down the road if I can. I'm decent with wiring and am pretty sure it's the thermostat in the warmer that went... I may do some research and see if anyone has bypassed the thermostat without catastrophic results.
Dan, you should have swung by the garage and grabbed my front Woodcraft, you could have tried test fitting it. I'm sure there must be someone on here who's close enough to you to make that feasible.
I do know the Woodcraft(vs. Chicken Hawk) warmers stay cooler on the outsidewhich could mean they are thicker and better insulated. Also keep in mind that the WC dual temps are on backorder currently, although they are hopeful they'll be ready before the Classic. I'm making a call to Woodcraft on Wednesday or Thursday for an updated ETA for a few customer orders.

Pete is right, they make a dual temp and a digital model. The dual temp is the one (almost) everyone uses, and is currently on backorder and due in right now on June 4th. The digitals are out of stock, and have been for quite some time.="Dangerous" Dan K;919651]Thanks dude, I totally forgot you were running them. I don't think I'd use multiple temps, I'd be fine with a single temp warmer, as long as that single temp is "hot". Does WC make a single temp, and do you know if it's on backorder?

I might know where you could get a set of used CH warmers for pretty reasonable cost, if you're interested.

Make me an offer. I used them for 3 or 4 seasons on my motard. They will be at the track whenever Adam (lrrs428) is going to get there before the classic.

Thanks man, but Brian offered me a deal on the CH's, and I know they'll fit in my super tight clearance. I'm just going to buy them up so I don't have to worry about it and can send mine in for repairs to work as backups in the future without stressing turnaround time. I really appreciate the offer though, very cool and much appreciated.
