    Race Weekend 8/5 - 8/6

    There's a chance I may be visiting the track this weekend. Could be Friday after work, could be Saturday, may be Sunday. Fuck, it could end up being all fookin' weekend for all I know. Then again, it may not happen at all. Kinda-sorta-but-not-really-maybe?

    What's everyone's plans for this weekend? Where ya'll gonna be pitted, when will you be getting there & for what days, and when are your races?

    Oh, if I just pop in to fuck around with you dipshits Friday afternoon, does it cost anything at that point to get into the pits?

    I'm gonna try & do the Scott Mullin Memorial Ride from the SVM shop up to the track on Sunday. I haven't been able to attend one yet cuz I'm usually already up at the track, but I've got some stuff to do around the house on Saturday so I won't be up there already.

    Not sure if it costs to get into the pits on Friday with Penguin being the ones in charge. I don't remember having to pay on Fridays in the past but things may have changed.

    My plan is to continue to work on my tow vehicle this weekend ... need to install a new tow hitch (the oem has all but disintegrated), plus I need to check and replace which wonderful ford calipers are close to seizing ... oh, and replace all the trailer marker lights with new marker lamp-holders and new LED lamps. No truck, no trailer ... no racey, racey for me this weekend. If I'm able to get up, I'd drive the smuttymobile up later in the day on Saturday to watch a few races and participate in the raffle.

    Doesn't look like I'm going to get any racing in this year.
    But I'll almost definitely be doing the SVM ride.
