Whoa............what a week.
It started on tuesday with a Tony's track day. My first time ever on the track. That was a blast and a LOT of needed track time for my upcoming weekend. I was spent after this. I then spent all of wednesday and thursday night prepping my bike for tech.
Friday I did the penguin school. All was going well until my 2nd open practice. Lowsided in 11a. To much speed, coasting, spent tire, inexperiece. Picked it up and finished practice. I split out of the penguin as soon as I got my shit and went down to register for my races right at 7:00 so I didn't have to mess round with it in the morning.
Woke up saturday with a pretty sore rib from my crash on friday, and got ready for practice. I got both in and I was feeling pretty good. Saturday was also my rookie race. I took it easy knowing that if I crashed I would be doing this all over again. I finished the race and now I am an officially licensed racer.YAAAAHHHHHHHH. I have no idea why I waited so long for this.
I also entered LWSportsman and finished 10 out of 14 in my class. Not bad and I was pleased considering that it was my first actual race and all.
Saturday night we went out to dinner and I made the mistake of getting shattered.
Sunday morning sucked because when I woke up it was raining. So I knew I would miss the first practice because I would have to go see Stevie Dunlop and get some rains mounted on my rims as I only have one set. Now keep in mind that I actually need some rims to mount my rains on. So I look and there my bike was missing. So I hop in the truck ride aruond the track and I look at the usual spots, the womens room, turn 3, tree house, anywhere ont he track. I can't find the bike. Then I go back and ask where the fuck she is. Get the usual I don't know. Then I got a little tip where she might be. Low and behold she's sitting all by her lonesome out on the start finish line going the wrong way. So Hessocarriedthestand and I went out and got her. She was lonely out there all night. Ok so now I have about an hour to get some rains mounted. Got it done in time and made the 2nd practice.
I entered the Supermotard race with Heath on sunday and got a decent start. I ended up being last on the start. Well the kid that got the holeshot ended up going down in 2. I ended up passing 3rd and 4th place to move up to second with a pretty good lead. I made it to the halfway point no problem cruising in second. Well next lap I'm cruising into 2 and next thing I know I am looking at the air fence sliding on my ass. I look up and the two guys I passed to get second went by .......FUCK. picked the bike up and finished last.
All in all I had a great weekend riding and racing. I learned alot, too much and it's still trying to process in the mind.
I would like to thank my sponsors:

hey man, I'm the one on the black/red/blue 125, I was also in the school. Were you the one who had a sip of race gas and spit it in the fire Friday night over at the Low Down Racing pit? You might have been the bike I went by on the rumble strip/dirt in 8 in Friday practice, also. Sorry about that!

It was cool meeting you this weekend and very nice to see another Motard to piss Chad off. Hopefully i won't fuck my knee up in the pits and i'll actually get to race with you next race weekend.![]()
How did the knee turn out? Did not look or sound good when it happened?Originally posted by Rick Lee

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I am totally hooked man. I'll have to actually introduce myself to the LDR crew some time. I know Chad, but thats it. I pit with Saxman and the DNF Racing crew.
Rick, nice to meet you man, I was the early early bird in the registration line Saturday morning.

KBs sig line should read "can i have a cigarette?"![]()
