Sounds like just about everyone from NESR had an awesome weekend... i'm sure i'll forget some people, but wanted to sumarize it for everyone here

BTW... what's this I hear about a "learning experience"? spill the beans! I wanna do 19's too
Heath - stop frigign flat trackin it up turn 4, will ya? you fuktards already take up enough space, we don't need you sideways takin up even more of the race line
Darrell - nice new purchaseglad you were able to get the bike back together & I think I saw a new personal best in the results if i'm not mistaken (
), despite the fact that you said your head just wasn't in the game... good job bro
I think Chad gets the award for most plaques of the weekend... what was the total? did you get em all home?
PKates - congrats on the Formula 40 win bro, now get faster & keep those old fukkers from breathin down yer neck.

Aaannnd now, since everyeone's favorite subject is themselvesHere's my weekend
Had to work Friday night so I couldn't get up to the track till Saturday morning.... wasn't as much of a pain in the ass as I woulda thought actually.... got registered (fuckers wouldn't accept my pre-reg cuz i got it in a day late which FUCKED me for grid positions). Then, like clayton said, we got 2 friggin laps of practice.
Lightweight Sportsman, race 9, was my only race of the day... awesome race with some SKEETTTCHY starts for me... i got totally boxed in the first two times & literally had to wait for the guys in front of me to get off their asses & get off their starting lines. Gridded last row, inside... First start a lane opened up to my left & i shot to the outside... WAAAAYYY outside.. that was interesting... red flag... grid up in the same spot, got boxed in AGAIN... this time in order to pass anyone i had to go waaayy INSIDE... well, u know the tires at the very end of hot pit wall? yeah... i was about 6 inches from those.. that's what you call "inside" goin into turn 1![]()
Anyway, another red flag & this time we re-gridded... i gained a couple rows, got a "decent" start the third time & Clayton in site. At one time I was as many as 8 seconds down, but I got w/in 3 at the checkered. My fastest lap was a 26.67, over 1.3 seconds faster than my previous personal best, ended up 5th & collected some wood for the first time in LWSM at the end of the day... good times, I was PUMPED.
Sunday I did Race 1 (GTL) and Race 14 (Ptwin)
GTL was a total clusterfuck. Traffic absolutely EVERYWHERE. I got past Clayton & stayed there, which was all I cared about(He's the Rainy to my Schwanz
) did consistant 28's and 29's in heavy traffic, ended up JUST out of top 5 because of a damn red flag... got stuck behind an SV and when I finally got past him in turn 1 they let the Red flag fly... I was piiisssed but it was still a good race
PTwin was the fuckin maaaaiiiin event. I new it was gonna be a tough race to win w/ Clayton, Mike (Biggity), Brendan Guy and Conor out there. Clayton took the holeshot & never friggin looked back. I kept him in my sites for the ENTIRE race and made some ground whenever he came up on traffic, but wasn't quite able to get the job done. I did pass him going into turn 1 as we came up to traffic (Steve Schmidt, aka Brewmaster), but as the three of us went into turn 1 (Clayton on Steve's inside and me on Steve's outside) Steve's transmission popped into a false neutral just before the apex as he was getting back on the gas & he ended up standing it up to take Nascar 1.... well here I am HONKIN around the outside, tryin to get past Clayton (which I did& i'm about to T-bone Steve as he stands it up... I was JUST able to avoid him, swerve onto Nascar 1, FLY through the little chicaine they set up & was going to stop at the cornerworker's station like they told us, but the corner worker was heads-up enough to realize that Clayton & I were battling for first... so instead of stopping me I see him waving me around 3rd tellin me to run home (I owe that guy a beer), so I got right back on it & put my head down trying to reel in Clayton w/ just 3 laps left... In the end I wasn't able to do it... i WAS able to make up a good 2-3 seconds and did a 1:26.001 on the last lap, but it just wasn't gonna be enough w/o a lot of luck & I finished 5 seconds behind C-dawg in a solid 2nd place.
Definitely an incredible race and Clayton earned it, so (yet ANOTHER) congrats to him on following in my footsteps () and winning his first PTwins race of his racing carreer

Lastly, it was great to see alot of familiar faces up there rooting us on... Mark (TLRMan) & his brother... Ryan (Rye) and his girl... Jeff L, Jim & Tracy, Kirk (capt1014) and his woman... KB & Jen, Rob & Kiera, Court (next time take your coat off & stay a while) & a number of others... always great to have the NESR people up there, cheering us on, so a big thanks to them as well

my weekend went like this, got a phone call saying "Mr king we have some packages for you" so off i ran down the stairs to the hotel lobby. my transmission came in. ran back upstairs. pulled out the 2 crates i had the motor in and got to work. i said i need to get this shit done so i can beat pete tommorow. well i couldnt get it to shift and said fuck it. put it back together anyways. this morning i put the clutch, water pump, oil pan, and other things back on. now its like 2pm CST. now all i needed to do was locate my teleporter to get my bike. mount the motor and teleport to the track. well i must of left the darn thing at home cause i couldnt find it.

OK, I read Pete's post untill he started talking about himself, then it started to look like a Tolstoy novel or something.
Sounds like everyone had fun. I spent the weekend moving. fuckers.
