Ok fellas,
I was thinking... (I hear the collective snickers)
Since 7 lbs equals 1 HP and I am about 4 HP heavy I need to get trim for next season.
Plus being in the Army is a motivator but I digress.
My point is maybe we could help to motivate one another with tips and such. Plus maybe a little competition.
We could do it on % of weight lost so it would be fair. The person that loses the most wins a prize ($10 from each competitor?)
I am at about 200 and would like to get to 180 or less.
Who else is in?

I'm at 138lbs, feeling a little heavy, my goal is 135 for the start of the season.

Work out... Eat... Take a Protein Supplement like "Weight Gainer" also creatine supplements while your working out (more water is held in the cells which helps them to heal faster but also plumps you up)

Sure fire weight gainer if your looking to put on the lbs.
1 cup steel cut oats (these are different than quaker double the calories)
2 scoops protein powder
1 cup or more milk
add in fruit if you like to make it taste different.
If your really looking to put on weight you can add a scoop of ice cream but the recipe above is pretty healthy. I did this for a while in college and it packs on good clean calories.
Now as far as a weight loss competition goes I am definitley in. End of the season this year the leathers were getting very snug.
Right now Im at about 235 and want to hit 215. So 20 lbs or more. I would be down for throwing in 10,20,50,100, 1000 dollars. I actually lean toward more money cause I dont want to lose 1000 dollars so losing weight or losing money I will drop LBS.
Let me know
Dude WEIGHT IS the Answer... My endurance isn't bad, my legs are hardly ever sore...
I am overweight and my riding would definately benefit if I could drop 20 lbs
So...

Being just about the heaviest dude here i am in need of dropping some pounds so count me in. How do you wanna do this? Everyone step on a scale now then do it at the first race of the season?
I'm in. Already started the conditioning program. Currently at 258 and planning on dropping at least twenty.

this is like the NESR's version of "the biggest loser"haha
good luck guys![]()
As for how to do this I figure it can be on the Honor system.
Weigh ourselves now and then for the first race weekend...
Keep track of it weekly here by posting your weight.
How does that sound?

sounds good to me what are the stakes gentlemen?
I think we gotta define the way we will calculate the loss.
I am all for bringing a scale to the track but... why get so technical, this is meant to be a gentlemanly bet, I trust everyone wil tell the truth.
That said, I am thinking we each pledge $10 to the biggest loser based on precentage lost.
Anyone think this is too little of an incentive?

im in, im at 195 now, would like to be 175. I agreee that percentage is the way to go as some of us have 15-20 to lose and some that weigh more are looking to lose more. Im in for ten, maybe more if we get a list of everyones weight and expectations.
Hey Ryan, come on, you can drop a few grams cant ya!!!!!!!!!
I'm in for what ever you guys decide. I have my goals for conditioning and weight loss regardless of this contest. A little NESR competition will only help with my motivation.
