    Racer Insurance

Sorry if this is a re-post. I just found this on the CCS Forum.

CCS/ASRA is an approved group, and licensed racers can qualify for this coverage.

"RiderSurance.com is an action sports-friendly place to quote and apply for insurance. The perk of this site is we only offer plans that do not have hobby or occupational exclusions specific to racing and riding."

I particularly like the disability insurance they offer -

"Disability Insurance – Insurance that replaces a portion of your income if you're unable to work for an extended period due to a COVERED accident or illness.
    • I do want to mention that while disability insurance is one of the most expensive insurances, there is a reason for that. The reason is very simple; your chances of becoming disabled prior to your retirement is much greater then you dying prematurely, especially with racing motorcycles or other action sports. Ask yourself, could you go 90 days without a paycheck? The most popular answer is no. If we were to become disabled, unfortunately there are still bills that need to be paid like mortgage or rent payments, utility bills, groceries, car and motorcycle payments, car insurance, child care, and medical bills just to name a few."

If you're racing and live in a covered state, it's probly a good idea to get covered.

As of today, not yet available in NH, but apparently it's coming soon.....

The plan is currently approved in the following 40 states:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

More informatioin can be found on the CCS/ASRA forum here and on their website here.

    Re: Racer Insurance

Brandon is a good guy. He used to race AMA/ASRA/Formula USA and I had him help me with health insurance a few years ago.

I have recommended his services in the past ... he focuses on the racer types and only selling products that will cover you in case you need it!
