I had a rip on Jamie's bike during the WRS.
I left my 636 at home and was borrowing bikes. Thanks for that Jamie (and Jane for asking and Arcy for approving).
Fun bike, but your gearing seems to have changed since I last rode it. Is this so, or am I imagining it?
we can all tell thats not Jamie........ the bikes moving too slow!!!
come on, you left yourself open for that one Arcy!

heheh, didn't know you got to take her out as well ... isn't she the little whore (=
I can't remember when you last took it out, but the gearing has been that was for a bout a year. It might change this weekend again.
What did you think of the overall package Ken? Arcy already complain about the power (or lack there of) but loved the handling of the bike

I took it out at the very beginning of this season, I think. It handles great, with a light feel to it. This time, I thought the throttle response was more abrupt than I remember it from before. But, the most notable thing was that I couldn't get the clutch out smoothly enough into T11. I messed with timing, but it just made me slow. I suspect it's mostly because I was in "Women's Track Day" mode, where a fast lap was relatively slow. So, I just wasn't riding it hard enough for the gearing to make sense.
One HUGE improvement: having your levers pointed downward instead of toward the sky!![]()
