So this is the breakdown of how the $10k mentioned at the banquet will be spread out. It's done by total points in class. Interesting.
I have emailed Wanda to clarify what they mean by 6 out of 7 including the classic, I will post what she says when I get it.
(i.e. do they mean 6 out of 8 and one must be the classic, 6 out of the other 7 plus the classic, etc)

Wanda's reply:
Good morning Chris,
It means that you have to race 7 events, 6 other and the Classic. The original plan was to have to race ALL events, but because you can drop one event for Championship points, we decided to go with the same. Although participation in the Classic is not required for the Championship, we felt the Classic should be required for the points fund. We are trying to re-build the Classic and make it a big event again.
I hope this clarifies this for you, if not, you know I am here to help in any way I can.

Wow, they are even paying out for NV. I wonder how bumps affect that.

I think they mentioned at the banquet about changing the policy of you keeping all your points when you bump... I bumped to amateur and kept getting front row or even pole position. I'm sure your points in class would reset. The points find will most likely go only to people who stay in their skill group for the whole seasonOriginally Posted by spydah

I like it. Very good that novices get some pie. Just a good thing all around that should boost participation.
