Hello! I am trying to find some roadrace boots. Most likely Alpinestar or Tecnic. Do you guys know of any area stores stock these boots? I would like to try them on before the big purchase. Thanx in advance.

As far as places that stock boots, they're few and far between. You're talking to someone who has had their license for under two months and has already owned three pairs of boots. I bought them all used and guessed on the sizes...and I suck at guessing.
MOMs in Manchester has maybe three pairs. The Honda place in Concord (near the Steeplegate/Target/CC) has a bit more, but I was looking for pants when I was there so I didn't notice the boots as much. Nault's Honda has nothing, but Nault's Ducati stocks a few pairs of Sidis.
What size shoe are you? I'm about an 11.5, and I ended up with a pair of size 46 Alpinestar SMXs. This is after owning two pairs of Sidis, size 44 and 45.
Brockton cycle used to stock them.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
MotoMarket in Acton, MA has daytonas, but they are expensive. What size shoe do you wear?

After you do find a pair and know your size, look around online.
Ebay is great, I got my Alpine SMX Plus boots for $155. They want up to $250 at most dealers and rarely I've seen them under $185.

I agree 100%. Finding boots online at a good price is easy once you know what size you are.Originally posted by Nazo

Nice, those must be the originals like Rolando's.Originally posted by HBerry

All three pairs of boots I've bought have been under $105. $80 and $105 for two pairs of Sidi Vertebra's, and $100 for the SMX.
According to the auction these are the Vertebra Two's

thanx for the help...i am about size 10.
never heard of the daytonas but i will check them out too.
i am going to look at newenough.com now.
I'd guess you're around a 44. Start there, even if you try on a 44 in Sidi, the other brands will be close in size. And one great thing about newenough is they actually have opinions on all their products, and that opinion usually includes a blurb about size discrepancies.Originally posted by curstofirst04
