Well made it to Laguna Seca although not on a motorcycle but a peddle bike. Visting in Santa Cruz so made the trip down to Monterey it was the only opening to get on the track.
Amazing how things on TV never really show the true elevation of things. But still did ride the track so it's in my top five. Old man could only do Four laps as the hill before the Corkscrew is longer and steeper than you would think. Had a blast

out of this list, COTA is the worst facilities i've seen. i've never seen a facility put in so much effort to make their customers feel unwelcome. track was super tough to learn (20 turns) and was great. but the way the track treated us was an embarrassment.
Buy facilities you mean the staff treated you poorly, correct? Not the garages, restrooms or other services.
there is an RV park outside the tunnels. that had a 3 showers. we got kicked out of there friday as the RV park was "not part of COTA". the office next to the garages had 1 mens and 1 womens shower stall. the track locked that on saturday around lunch time. the paddock had no trash barrels nor PA system. we had to use an app that CMRA developed for race calls and announcements. it did the job, but you would have to keep scrolling to refresh it, which gets annoying fully geared up with gloves on in 95 degree weather. the track also allowed a few CMRA officials without campers to sleep in various vacant rooms in the building for the weekend. saturday they came in and changed their mind and kicked them out with no where to go. saturday mid day, the track cut off all connections CMRA had to the track's wifi and camera access because they wanted it for the willy nelson concert that was starting later that night. the track also stopped our races at 4pm on saturday for the concert as well...which was way later in the night.

then dont go to CMP. i didnt mind the technical flow of COTA, but it took a long time for me to learn it
Well, Guess COTA is off my list, harsh treatment after the club rented the place. Agree about CMP.
