all ready to go now it seems. well for the penguin school at least. i need to swap rims/tires saturday for the races... going to run my regular pilot powers for the school and stuff. all the coolant is drained, filled with water wetter and water. safety wired everything. new oil and filter. all brake fluid completely flushed and braided front lines added. spent some time on it this weekend haha. cant wait for the 27th. got the number plates too. put some wire mesh on the back of the humongous headlight holes and cut some vinyl over it. fun times.
now im sleepy![]()
When you have some time, drill and safety wire the brake banjo bolts. Those lines have a lot of leverage and can loosen the bolt at the master.

Do you guys think those "number plates" are gonna pass tech?

Very nice
i left number plates on both sides in case they make me run a bigger one, i can just cut some vinyl and place it in the middle of both. makes life easier since getting the right shape is a pain haha.
the bike is a 2001 zx6r.
i am looking into frame sliders![]()
someone suggested a while ago that if you go through tech with a bunch of experts you'll be fine for things like this. i have seen a lot of them with front number plates that don't meet the requirements so i'd try that![]()

5.2 Number plates, or number display areas, will be a minimum of 10 by 12 with
radiused corners
Front displays may be painted only if the front section of the fairing is of adequate
size and the display is clearly legible. Otherwise a 10 by 12 plate must be
mounted. If the front fairing is broken by an air intake the number must be
displayed on the scoring side of the intake. (The riders left at Loudon)

youre quoting a rule book that even the rule book writers dont abide by. bottom line. if the tech guy doesnt like it (or you) it wont pass. regardless of what "the book" says
