Does any one know if they made the final rule about the helmets.? Can we still use are older stuff ?

My understanding is still cannot be older than 5 years from the manufacture date....I don't think the Snell rating matters (as long as it is Snell rated)

Ya....I thought there was talk about a rule change...and was going to have to be 2010 or newer ....did not know if that was determined or not have not found a 2011 rule book yet ...

Don't confuse snell 2005 with a 5 year old helmet.
Snell 2005 helmets were made through 2009 and could be good until 2014 depending on the build date which is stamped on chin strap or a sticker inside the shell.
