A fellow racer, LRRS Expert #33 Scott Bosworth passed away this Saturday, from injuries sustained from a turn 3 multiple bike crash. Heard it at the riders meeting and read it on the WERA board. Godspeed Scott....![]()

I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
I talked to that guy a few times. Freaky for sure.
I kind of got teary eyed when we celebrated his great life and love of racing. Yes even I have a soft side!!
RIP BOZZY

Days like that it really hits home how what we do is dangerous. But we all knew the risks, and I'm sure Scott did too. He died doing what he loved, and we should all be glad that he had the opportunity to find a sport so rewarding and full of comraderie as club racing.
With that said, thoughts go out to his family and friends, it's never easy to have someone you are close to taken from you suddenly. RIP Scott Bosworth, I'm sure the tracks in are heaven are smoothly paved and full of cute umbrella girls.
Godspeed.

RIP Scott.
I got the news yesterday around 4pm PST and immediately started making calls. Wasn't until late last night that I found out who it was. I didn't know Scott personally, but that hardly matters. RIP my man..![]()

Live life now!....it has an expiration date!
Friendship is like peeing in your pants,
Everyone can see it,
But only you can feel the true warmth.
Scott pitted just behind me in the garages, and always offered help and joked around. Friday night we were in the garage, they were hanging out while I was changing float needles in my carbs... his g/f and him invited my g/f and I to dinner but my mom had dinner waiting for us so we passed... Saturday I was poking around for something and asked him if he had a marker (wanted to write my grid positions down)... he was in his leathers getting ready for the last race he would ride.
I heard of the red flag and additional ambulances needed over the radio, but naturally assumed the normal broken bones or injuries, and headed out for my race (race 2 on Sat.). When I came back in to the pits and had gotten out of my leathers, my teammate approached to ask if I had anymore races that day and after I confirmed I did not, he told me the news.
I was completely shocked, as it seems to always be the case, Bozzy was one of the best guys you could ever ask to know. Always joking around, blaring rock 'n roll after the races on his Sirius radio... a completely laid back kinda guy who would always lend whatever aid you asked of him.
I'm at a loss right now, the garage was empty and quiet all weekend, by Sunday afternoon my bike was the only bike in my garage, and the empty garage of Bozzy right behind it.
I never hung w/ him outside of the track, and only got to know him well at the end of last season... one thing is certain though, I will sorely miss him.
Al G, (pits in Center garage 9) is planning on taking up a collection to help with the expenses for his girlfriend and family. I will post whatever I hear on the forum.
Godspeed Scott, may there be nothing but curves and endless gobs of throttle awaiting you.
Regards,
