Anyone been to the Street and Comp website lately? Was just told, there's a big "Bridgestone" logo on their main page... sure enough there it was. Are they really going to be distributing both Pirelli and Bridgestone?
Street & Competition
they dropped pirelli
this all happened a couple months ago...i dunno any of the specifics but yea they're the new bridgestone guys
EDIT: i thought they did anyway? website still has pirelli tires for sale.... i dunno, i dont use either haha

No love for Pirellis?
I've liked both sets on my bikes...Diablos and Stradas.
Bridgestone, on the other hand......never again.
never tried bridgestones....the only pair of pirellis i tried didn't work for me. I settled on my dunlops pretty quickly and never looked back.
(i'm talkin race tires, i dont know anything about street tires)
Ooops!
Well, I'm talking street tires because I don't know anything about race tires.
I'll go back to lurking...
EDIT: "Pit Area"...DOH!
S&C has dropped the Pirelli line completely. There have been conflicting reports who dropped who, but either way they are stones dealer only now.
I'm a huge Pirelli fan so this was disappointing for me, but I have already spoken with the new vendor for Pirelli and they seem to have their shit together. Race Pirelli - NorthEast
I talked with the guy on the phone and they use to be an AMA race team (sposored Eric Wood at one point).
Guess we will see ... if this doesn't work out, I'll probably head over to Dunlop and try those out.

wow, this is news to me. I wonder if they still have pirelli stock they are blowing out or if those tires went back to the distributor? It is pretty strange the Myles would drop pirelli ... i can't see the logic there since he appeared to be a huge advocate. So all he will see is the 'stones ?? weird. that is like going from a benz to a yougo or something ...![]()
I'd rather punch myself in the balls than buy anything from Street and Comp. I'd go without if it came down to it.
So does that mean Underground is out? Is Street and Comp our only choice this year?

From what we have heard, Miles is the official Bridgestone dist. for LRRS.
