1) Get my race bike back into my possession
2) Actually enter and compete in some races in 2009
3) Not blow up my race bike motor in 2009
4) If all else goes well bump to Am sometime in 2009
umm. as of last week i had no 09 goals other than attend afew races as a spectator...
apparently doc couldn't just leave well enough alone, and now i've got a whole list of shit.
get new helmet, gloves and boots.
try to remember what an apex is.
work on mobility and strength of bad foot.
quit smoking so i can attempt GT race or 2 this year.
i'll most likey be taking penguine again in april as a refresher. or maybe just a track day.
anyone know where the race line is?
My goals,
to make it to at least one race weekend. As a spectator.
No racing for me again this year. Hopefully I can get back into it at some point.
1.) Work on low speed maneuvering
2.) Pack on even more miles
3.) Do at least one track day
4.) Change my own tires
5.) Organize a group ride
6.) Meet more people in the area and ride with them more.
7.) Sticky side down, shiny side up...
8.) increase my power to weight ration (nice way of saying to lose 15 pounds)
Pre Season
Buy a trailor or truck
Season
Stop riding on the street
Attend Penguin
Ride all the track days I can
Have fun and not get hurt
Preseason:
Get a trailer + hitch for the new car
Pick up a Penske Shock for the EX
New brake pads in front
Season:
Get a garage with my fellow Cheap Bastid + all the others who USED to be Cheap Bastids.
Race as many weekends as I want to.
Have fun.

2021 KTM Duke 890 R
2020 BMW R1250GS Adventure Exclusive
1982 Honda CB750F Super Sport
I pissed them off in the WERA dungeon(all of the Mongoloids) so bad they refused to ban me. Like most only get suspended. I got like the death sentence from them.
Did em allHad a great effing season!!!
Teens - Check (1:18.7)
Beat Oxx - Check, check, check, check, check and check.
Finish top 5 - Check (Whole bunch of top 5's and two third place finishes)
I had a bunch more of em, but those are were the big personal ones.
AND.... not a SINGLE DNF all year! I finished every race I started![]()
The only races I didn't finish were on weekend 2 when I crashed in turn 8 during Sunday morning practice & missed LWSS and LWGP.

Awesome job!!!! I had one DNF too. After a all nighter assembling and then installing a motor I raced and had a solid second going and pulled off after the white flag. Hitting the teens musta been THE best. Congrats.
My first year was a success I guess. Originally my goals were to move up to AM and run at least 1.25s
I made it out of novice half way through the year and did a best of high 1.23s so I'm kinda content with that. Still mad the season is over![]()
