Marco ran good, Ben was following him past Max in the chicane when he got fucked. if Ben had checked up going into the chicane i think he couldve slipped under Max when he reentered. if Ben stayed with Marco he may have had something for him.

HAGA back in the champ lead:beerbang::jackie::shredder:...suck it Ben's Peas.
no really though, i'm a spies fan as well, but..... i've been a haga fan since i first saw him podium on an outdated YZF750R. i'd loose my faith in the universe if he had to retire without a championship...once he gets his he can finally retire and i can go on to being a full time spies fan.
Here's a Ben interview Post-Race2

good thing he signed another contract, cause this ain't his year either. :mecry:
don't get me wrong, i'm a big haga fan, but i'm a bigger yamaha fan and theres no way he's beating ben this year. sorry.
oh, and by the way... rumor is bayliss was nosing around the aprilla paddock (they are fielding 2 teams next year) so next year isn't looking so hot for nitro either.
(i should end this by pointing out that i'm NOT a ducati fan, hence my haga shots.)
i love Haga. i would like to see him win one especially after he got screwed when he was on the R7. but to see rookie Ben do it would be cool. its too bad Ben isnt staying there. im not sure going to Moto GP is a good idea just yet.

Or colin edwards
WSBK coming down to the wire!
Make that plus 2.
He deserves one this year. He's been oh so close many years
running. He's been a trooper year and year out though.
But heck if Ben can win the double then more power to him!
Talk about drama huh? Couldn't write a more exciting end to the season
than this one!
The possibilities are crazy. I know everyone keeps saying Ben has to win the double to take the championship, but thats assuming Haga takes second. If Ben wins race 1 and Haga finishes outside of the top 3, Ben goes into race 2 with the points lead. IMO the pressure is on Haga for sure. I think Ben can put it all on the line and if he crashes, so what. What does he have left to prove?
i think Ben has def. proved himself to be a force. its too bad he wont be there next year so he can prove he wasnt just a flash in the pan.
Well there goes Haga's chance of the Title.. just crashed out of Race 1 on lap 6... :mope:
:doh::suicide:
Great year to be a Yamaha fan:wub:
I've always been a Haga fan and even though I don't care for ducati, I was torn between Ben and Nori.
First year for the new R1, and a rookie WSB rider? Awesome!!:woot::cheers:
what if Fabrizio had let Haga by on the last lap? would it have made a difference with Spies in 5th?
Just want to say how sorry i'am for being the "spoiler". It was not my intent to piss everybody off and i hope you all can forgive me. I was just so excited that i lost my mind.
christ, so yamaha took WSBK, WSS, MotoGP, BSB, and SX this year? Thats just nutty.
I'm a Spies fan. He's understated, but cool, and really starting to have a little personality of his own. Glad he won it, and glad he's moving on. I don't think he'll become a toseland, or an Edwards, but he definitely needs to come out swinging and land Valentino's ride for 2011.
I hope Haga can win WSBK next year. He needs to be more consistent though.
