FYI for the racer guys and NESR people interested in the racing team.
I WILL be racing this year, but not under the NESR racing name.
The race team is changing and morphing by the minute and I hate to say it, but I think it needs a down-sizing to stay viable. Too many cook spoil the broth so they say.
I fear that if I stay in the team, I'm going to lose friends through disagreements and I do not want that to happen.
So, to the NESR racing members who will be racing under the site name this year, I say "good luck" and I wish you all the very best for the upcoming season.
I will be racing the GTU class this season on my F4i and I would be very happy if you guys want to stop by and say hello at the track.

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
Good luck Degs. I'll see you at the track and hopefully on the street too.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
To all NESR Members and Racers,
This is a sad day. Derek Sinclair has spearheaded the racing efforts of this organization since it's inception. Today, I want to say best of luck to Derek. He will always be a NESR racer, no matter where he is. He had done more for this team, and more for me, than I can say. For that, I am very grateful to have Degs as a friend and racing mentor. Please show him your support when you all come to the track, as I am certain he will not be pitting too far away from us. I for one will be helping him when I am not racing.
With respect to NESR Racing, If no other racers object, I guess I will try my best to follow in Derek's footsteps. It won't be the same, but I'll try. I'd like the racers to speak up and let me know if they are ok with my assuming Derek's responsibilities to the best of my capability. Jay(hessogood) has offered to assume the $17.00 a month for the site until I get the donation account squared away, and get some donations, which will be by weeks end most likely. In case any of you don't know who I am my name is Heath, and I am #337, the red motard last year, and a blue motard this year. I am willing to, and have taken steps to promote the success of this racing team this year. With your help, I am certain that we can make it a success. Plus Degs promised me he'd give me advice, which will be needed. So all racers speak up.
Thanks Derek, for all the effort you put into this racing team. We won't let you down bro. We'll keep it going!
Regards,
Heath Smith-

Says Vale to Colin at the end of the 2002 8 Hours of Suzuka: "Ok Colin, you better go out there and win. Because it is the ONLY way we will NEVER have to come here again!"
Degs! I was looking forward to working with you in the NESR pits. I'm sure we'll see you 'round the track! If you reconsider, I'd love to discuss delegation of responibilities to make things easier on you. However I do understand wanting to focus purely on racing. See you around Bro...
Heath, you obviously have the drive and dedication to get things done (and a great Crew Chief).
If anyone questions Heath's ability, I urge you to spend some time with him as you will change your mind quickly. He's an intense person that doesn't quit until things are flawless and he is an asset to ANY organization...
Good Luck Degs!

Good luck Derek.. You know I will always be around if you need anything. Where are you pitting? I will be splitting time between C18 and the area near the cememt fingers along the fence. Please stop by. As I am sure you know there is always food, beer, and Captian..Originally posted by Degsy
