OK, well I thought I'd be done sunday, but justin is keeping me busy with electrical gremlins... I have had clear coat drying on the way up, haha... Just curious who needs to get what done still!



I am leaving tomorrow AM, just need to safety wire brakes, and install rear line.

I have a couple electrical gremlins to tinker with on Friday morning. Tach and neutral light. Neither are absolutely necessary but both bug me. Gotta purge the cooling system too since I've added the "new" radiator.

Just needs little stuff, torque bolts, a little safety wire, stick on some numbers, ziptie some stuff... unless I can't fix the fueling issue tonight.

1.) Get my bike checked so I know what I did wrong BEFORE tech.

2.) Get my number situation squared away.

3.) Just rec'd a package at the office w/ some stainless front brake lines I would like to get installed, but am a bit hesitant to do them alone so close to race time.

4.) Gonna check my swing arm angle/adjust ride height & do a quick service on the forks tonight and get that squared away.

5.) remove kick stand

I think that is all I need to do before Saturday... I feel I am in good shape for the most part.

Bleed brakes. Purge cooling system/add more water and wetter. New tires from kurtz tomorrow night. Install tail with fabbed up brackets and front number plate. Double check bolts/safety wire stuff. And probably more that I'm forgetting.

When you go through Penguin tech, tell them you're racing tomorrow and ask if they can check everything over. Penguin tech is far less stringent than racing tech.

I need to change the oil and filter, put the stock jets back into the carbs, flush the cooling system and add water, put the exhaust back on, put the radiator back on, and when I get to the track I am getting the exhaust clips that I need from BJ. Oh and safetywiring...that is going to be fun.
