    SV guys and gals

What the deal with the gauge cluster. Do you remove it so there is no tach or do you leave it and just tape over the speedo.

I contemplating pulling it off and putting it in a safe place.

Sorry, I already have an idea for new tach:

    http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/sv/sunpro-tach.php

I found mine for $40 new on eBay and since I bought the GPTech fariing stay, it'll work just as he says it will.

BTW, got the tach in the other day and hook-up is super easy. It has an adjustable shift light as well. Only thing is that it goes to 10K and the SV's redline is 11K. I read that the rev limited is 10K. Is this true?

Now all I need it the fairing stay to mount it to.

BTW, KB, what did you end up doing? Sorry for the threadjack.

I took off the guage cluster, then left the key on cuz there was no light to remind me it was on and drained the battery, so I taped over the speedo, not that it will work, and put the guage cluster back on. I've been running the motard with no tach, so I'm not entirely sure I'll need it.

    If I don't it's coming off.

yeah, you wouldnt want the weight of that tach slowing you down.

I have already swapped all the nuts and bolts out to titanium as well as the axles. I've got a set of DYMAGS on order to shed some more weight. It's easier to just buy the weight saving than hit the gym!!
