I'd like to have something like that in my pit too.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
thats going to have to get to a track day so i can have my way with it just once.

once it's all sorted out, you can take it out for practice.

hoping for a little under 300lbs and around 60hp once it's done.

yeah- I've been lazy with it and unwilling to spend any $$ on it.

Cool! The RGV 250, for those who don't know, is the same motor that's in the Aprilia Cup RS250's. There's still a decent aftermarket for the motor, and some good knowledge on setting them up.
Be cautious with mods. The motors are little less than reliable in anything but stock form. Rebuilds are pricey...
That said, they make decent power stock. They roughly match 125 at loudon. They have more torque, but less rev/hit. Handling should easily match or better a 600. My impressions are all from the RS, but they feel like a gutless 600. A really great platform for learning to corner with speed and skill. They have just enough torque to spin it up out of T3, but it's quite controllable.
nice.
I won't be doing anthing to the motor other than replacing the powervalves with ones that are more reliable, getting the unrestricted SAPC and bigger carbs.
Still looking into the suspension, but I guess any shock from the rs will fit the banana arm swinger that the 91+ rgv's have.
If you don't mind me asking, what did that set you back and where did you find it?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
$0.
My cousin owned this while he was in Japan w/ the airforce.
he shipped it back here in pieces. Still in the process of putting it together to make sure all the parts are there.
