Sunday September 6th is the last points earning round of NEMM for the 2015 season, taking place in the middle of nowhere at Boxshop. Come, hang out in the woods, tell lies and do stupid things on dirt bikes. For those who don't like dirt, there are pavement only classes. As long as it's a dirt derived machine, and not sporting knobbies, there is a class for it no matter what your skill level. Other Loudonites will be there if you're shy. Heck, it's a good time just for hanging out and watching, if that's your thing, you pervert.
Note, NEMM tends to run on Boxshop time so the schedule may not be 100% dead on...

Tell me about prep requirements. What would I need to do to my DRZ?
Tape the lights, pull the mirror and watch my ass?
Seeing as I'm often the guy doing tech inspections:
- Lights have to be removed, taping over isn't a suitable substitute unfortunately.
- You'll need numbers that are legible for Kerry as you rocket by the scoring stand. I'll have a couple colors of duct tape with me.
- Tires can't be knobbies.
- Catch can needed for crankcase / carb / radiator vents. Sealed airboxes are allowed as termination points for those vents.
- Oil filters need to be secured / wired, oil fill caps and drains must be wired.
- Radiator cap and drain must be wired. Water or water + Water Wetter or equivalent non-glycol additives only.
- Caliper mounting bolts must be wired.
- If using a clip link chain the master must be wired.
It's not spelled out in the rules online, but mirrors and side/center stands must be removed as well.
Hrmph.. with a hard ass like you running tech I'm not even going to bother trying.
Probably a good thing as I have a shit-load more repair work left on the SV (and me) before LRRS round
