    Fun RRs

I'm really enjoying all these rookie reports. It almost makes me want to get back out there. That crazy alive feeling, the ups and downs, the new skills and experiences. Good stuff guys. Enjoy it for all it has to offer.

Any good pranks pulled on the rooks this weekend?

I was thinking athe same thing but on the other side of the fence...its cool to see fast guys chime in and remember their experiences from starting out, running 1.30s or whatever it may have been, helps keep motivation and put some things in perspective. One thing is for sure, there is a REALLY nice core group of racers up at LRRS and I'm psyched to be a part of it and hang with you cats.

hahah you aren't alone. here are two of my race reports form my 2nd and 3rd weekends racing EVER (both in June). That year we had back-to-back races at the Bike Week. Pretty cool.

Great reading about all the new racers and remembering having the same feelings or being in the same scenarios.

Worrrd... I'm diggin the rook reports as well... I'm still a newbie by some standards & definitely a noob to the expert scene, but reading them feels kinda nostalgic in a way. I remember my first win like it was yesterday.

I agree, I have to be honest and tell you guys I kept looking back into the Pit Area section looking for a write up on how the first weekend went for all of you...I REALLY miss being at the track talking to and watching you guys.

Sunday morning, Kitt rolled over to the Boston Moto trailer and wished me good luck in finding my leathers. I looked at all the likely places (billboard, score board, press box in the grand stands), and didn't see a set of white leathers hanging anywhere. When I got to the garage I was greeted by myself... sitting on my bike in race position.

They stuffed everything I own into the leathers (tire warmers, dirty clothes, backpack, backprotector, computer, tools... everything), and mounted "me" on my bike... Boots, helmet, gloves and all.

Collectively we moved the beach about 2 feet into 3. We managed to get both Seth and CEO, though seth managed to foil our plot.

When CEO chrased in T3, he sprayed the side of my helmet with stones as I was about to turn into T10! It was quite surprising!
