yeap... and i was in 3 /10 we had 5 or 6 crashes and 2 or 3 ambulances and a walk in to the IMC. It was a long day today for everyone. Worked on a little bit of a tan though. At least I wasnt trying to push bikes through that gravel pit...

    That shits deep.

that was a pretty tricky one in Race 4, eh? brian keith highsiding himself in L1, and zach holcomb front flipping over him... yikes! scary from 5 ft away.

They need some tugger straps for that new gravel trap...

    Re: Dear racers, please...

I made some suggestions this weekend. The problem with the tugger strap is there is typically only 2 people working that turn and you usually have to move the bikes 30 - 50 yards through the trap. its not like 2 people can pick it up or really drag it that far that quickly.

    Re: Dear racers, please...

I know, I had to try to move a bike there with one other person at a trackday. Didn't get far. Perhaps they need to post a third person and use straps.

I pushed my own bike out of 6....

Pushed up the hill then out the gate behind the bleachers. Looked way easier than pushing down through the gravel all the way to the 6 gate.

Awesome! You are more than welcome to come and corner work with us

There are reasons we push down to the 6 gate, some of which include getting out of the crash zone, being readily available for any other crashes that occur which could be on entry to the corner, and because thats where the brooms, cleanup material and fire extinguisher are.

On the surface, having more people in the corner seems easy enough, then when you look and see that there arent any more people that can be moved around or added to the corner you see the problem. Hopefully more people will be joining in the fun soon. I brought up 2 friends this weekend to work and they should be coming back next race weekend. Just need more people to join us. So if you know anyone... let us know!

The gravel trap was a great change and shows the track is willing to do work to make things better for us. Bikes now get stopped 5-10 meet off the track unless they go end over end. Theres just some new challenges to figure out as we go.

I tried that once. The gate was locked. FML.
