Anyone have a light trailer I can borrow to get my bike down to NJMP? I want to save as much gas as possible, and the uhaul trailers start off at 550 lbs without the bike (and I still have a little audi a4)
I have access to a machine shop, I can design and fabricate pretty much anything, I weld, paint race glass (not professionally, but the bike will be the color you want it to be and pretty shiny) so if you'd like something in return just let me know. My time would be free, you pay for materials, in return for the borrowing of the trailer.
Of course, if I break it, I buy it.
you can take mine... just needs the drivers side fender repaired... its half hanging off. lights are gtg

PM sent, if you are interested in sharing a ride from Farmington, CT

I would offer mine up in a heart beat, but it's got tiny ass wheels on it and I just fear it will throw a bearing on that long of a trip. If you want to risk it, it's all yours. If you can swap some larger wheels on it from your current trailer (5-lug) then I would go for it.
Suspension is just shitty ass springs so it makes a lot of noise, but it pulls straight and true and I still get 27 mpg towing it with my passat.

Damn guys. I'm always impressed by how generous everyone on here is. Thank you everyone. I'm going to grab Jim's, then truck down to farmington to meet up with Bob so we can take his van and share the gas/tolls.
I completely agree.
And if everything above falls through and you wanna take a ride to NH before Friday AM, you would be welcome to borrow my trailer as well.
Unlike some of these guys.. my trailer has all its lights, fenders, wheels, hitches, and chains in proper working order.![]()

Thank you everyone.
Hoping to leave Farmington around 12 noon or so, to get to NJMP when they let us in at 7 pm, after Walmart stop in Millville, NJ. We might still have room for 3rd person, if you wanna join us...
All else falls through I have a harbor freight folding one in Lowell
I can't leave that early.
