website says a little north of those prices, and there is no price on the chargers or holders. starting to sound like a wash.

i called and spoke to them yesterday. i might be off on the prices, but i was pointing out that they also sell chargable and wired devices. but dont include the pouch or charger. it's like $5 extra.

Updated information from Kevin Elliot. I'll just copy the email that I got back from him as it is pretty self-explanitory.

"The Westhold units are not compatible with AMB/MyLaps and vice versa
unfortunately. NHMS was disappointed when they found out how inexpensive the
Westhold units were and have agreed to check with us in the future before
making those types of decisions.

We will have a limited number of units for rent at all of our events for $25
per event. The full price is just $80 and they are projected to have a three
year life for the battery under normal use and a nine year shelf life if
unused. So if the LRRS rider chooses to run more than 3 events over the next
three seasons, it would make sense just to purchase one. (Also it will not
interfere with the AMB/MyLaps scoring so it would not have to be removed for
races at NHMS.)"
