So far we (kid and i) have been to Summit Point and NJMP racing (Roebling Road in the distant past). Planing on trying to get to VIR and Daytona this year as well. Anyone plan on traviling outside of NHIS to race this year? Alex is going to Mid Ohio this weekend, does CCS race out there?
Secong to those of you who have traveled in the past where do you recomend for small bikes?
I've been pondering the possibility of hitting up NJMP in a couple of weeks.
In fact I was hoping to do 3 rounds at NJMP and maybe a couple of other tracks like VIR, homestead or Daytona as well....
BUT, my vacation time is running awfully thin and I don't want to miss any LRRS weekends.![]()

Barber is a great track for small bikes. Its a haul but its worth it. Calabogie has some fast parts but is also technical. Mont Tremblant is another fun track though its a bit faster. I've run my Aprilia RS250 at Calabogie & Tremblant and not held anyone up.
The Older I Get,
The Faster I Was...
How did you like summit?

Go to Barber, you'll love it. We are going there in October.....not sure what you ride but AHRMA is racing there and there is a place for twins and singles. Our school is after the race weekend on Monday, but as for tracks on the "to do" list, that one is on there.
The race of champions at Daytona is the next week....not exactly a "small bike" track, but one that should be experienced regardless. The advantage on a small bike is that there are no tire issues to speak of, unlike the big bikes.
VIR is good. There is a long front straight, but ther rest of the track (particularly the back section) is great on any kind of bike.

We are doing Nj, Barber, and Homestead.
Homestead's the best at the beginning of December, makes the summer seem longer.

Just got back from a weekend of racing at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Did 3 races on the RS125, but wasn't competitive and didn't finish well, but the 2 races I did on the EX250 where loads of fun and I even managed a 2nd place in the last race! That was my only planned away trip for this year. Can't wait to go back next year!

Well, depends on your definition of 125! I raced my EX250 with a bunch of fast young kids on CBR125s! I was the only 125GP bike there this time. Last year, an older fast guy on a TZ, Jack R-something-ski, was the only other 125 2-stroke there.
I'll be heading up north sometime in August... after the next LRRS Round and TTDs.

We're planning on Daytona in Oct., and we have plenty of room to transport bikes down for people (room for 9 mopre bikes total). Don't mean to hijack the thread, but if anyone is interested in bike transport to Daytona for ROC shoot me a PM.
