So I'm trying to get a response from Don and Wanda both and no one will get back to me about bumping up to AM. Should I just pre-enter as an AM, or will they bounce that? I thought I read a while ago to just enter as an AM and they will see the index/points/times and just put it through. Not sure about that - any input?

YOu should do your pre-reg as an am... if you meet the requirements, your request will be accepted.
If you wait to pre-reg until you receive an answer from Don, and the deadline is past, they likely will not accept your pre-reg.
I was a day or two late when bumping to AM for the same reason and had to really sweet talk them to get my pre-reg accepted... they said for future reference to just pre-reg as an AM and worst case if you get denied then you can modify your races when you get there.

Wanda has nothing to do with Bumping. It is all Don. If you have the Index and the right amount of races and you haven't been and idiot just pre reg as an Amateur.

If you meet em you move up. 10 races and an index of .500+

What constitutes a good lap time?
Mid pack Amateur times. In your class.

Ok, well the index is definitely going to be there - never really finished out of the top 5, the points are pretty high, the times aren't overly fast -19's and a brief pb of an 18, and amount of races is more than enough. But the idiot thing may hold me back - lol. Had a horrendous last event which actually made me re-think bumping at all, but I know I'll get bumped next April anyway automatically, so I guess I'll just enter as an AM and see what happens at the window.

Good luck.

Its you total batting average, not just how well you batted for the last few games
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

If you hit an index of .750 in NV you can bump too, regardless of how many races you've done.
