I hear they would've been faced with a 20 million dollar lawsuit for breach of contract if they didnt race. So you think they're gonna put TONS of money into their effort?

I think there will not be alot of money spend,One rider and one bike I think the will just show up so there will be no lawsuit.

Buy if they don't do any development, it will go backwards fast.

that would shatter the incredible chance they had at the title.
not sure what's going on with hopper. apparently a year off. personally i think kawi went with the wrong rider.

I'd take Marco over Hopper any day of the week. Marco is a 250 World Champion and multiple MotoGP winner. He had a bad year on the Ducati, he is by no means a bad rider. He's about the same age as Hopper too.

Hopkins has been in GP since 2001 or 2002 and hasn't set one Pole and has about 3 podium finishes. Plus a bunch of questionable moves off the track in the past few years.

Either way it's a weird situation.

i agree with everything you just said and thats why i think they should have went with hopper. i think kawi is screwing marco with this move, he had a shitty year last year, now he's going to have another. i think they should have let hopper deal with it, he's spent his career on sub-par bikes with little to no factory support, and by support i mean $$$.

but like you said, its a weird situation and i dont think it will end well for kawi or dorna.
