Interesting to see Spies up there waaay above the three 250 guys. Would have thought those guys would have fared a little better having had many more years of experience at that track.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys think the transition from 250 to MotoGP bikes is harder or easier than the transition from 1000cc AMA/WorldSBK bikes to MotoGP bikes?

Next year will be a great year if we can consistanty see three Americans in the top 10!

Gotta give it to Hayden, he runs more laps than anybody (clearly not literally on this day, but in general, he's known to test a LOT and do many laps).

Spies has been on the bike for 3 days already. Compare Ben's Friday MotoGP times to his Monday MotoGP times. He's dropped like 3+ seconds. The 250 guys are doing just fine.

i'm curious about what spec bike he is actually on. the top speed times on sunday, ben was up with lorenzo and rossi while edwards and toseland were at the bottom of the list. now of course it could be all about rider skill and the last corner, but..... who knows.

well, technically the motor limit rule didn't apply to him because he was a wildcard so i guess thats possible. just odd that he is at the same end of the spectrum as the factory boys while the tech 3 guys were near each other at the bottom. we'll never know either way i guess.
