Is this gonna happen? If so, what time are you getting started? I live just down the road so I'd come up and spectate for a bit.

9-4 or so. It IS happening. I am guestimating about 10 people so far. maybe more.

I hope everyone had a blast today. We had about 10 people show up to ride, too bad there were only 2 bikes for most of the day to go around. (we started with 5)
Everyone seemed to get bit by the bug and I have promises from at least 5 people that they are going to get bikes! That will make 7 or 8 of us!

That is a good core and it WILL grow from there. People were already asking about when we could do it again.

Nope, sorry. The YSR made a limited appearance. It was sketchy... I MAY try to run it in the future but I will strip the plastics and make some frame sliders for it IF I do.

You may be able to borrow a different bike though...

Hey Doc, are 14" wheels too big? Because that seems to be what the slightly larger bikes have (ie, the ones big enough for me to fit on without sitting on my heels).

As for 14 inch wheels I think that is getting kinda big. The YSR and Ken's minimotard has 12's and I think that is about as big as it should go...

What are you looking at with 14's? XR/crf 100's?

You could try it but I think they might be too big.

14" fronts tend to show up on 'midsize' pitties, CRF70s, KLX110s, TTR90s, etc. The downside to a 14" front is poor rubber selection, although for track days, a Michelin Pilot Sport SC 120/70R14 will get the job done. They actually work well on KLXs for some strange reason, even with the horrid profile?
